Pop Up Twist Flipbook - Outgoing Mail To Kell (Belgium)

Hi! I already prepared a flipbook for my dearest penpal, Kell before I receive her letter hehe.
I made this pop up twist flipbook and I have the process video I'm gonna share (I guess?!) but don't expect too much on my video. I didn't record a nice process video and the lighting was not that nice either. I was inspired by Kay F on youtube. She shared a tutorial of this layering pop up twist mini album. I usually make just a normal pop up twist card with 4 panels but she did 12 panels.
I love to make flipbooks for my penpals so here it is!

What should I name this little thing?

Outgoing mail for a penpal in Belgium but I have no idea to name this little thing.
If you'd like to know the process, I'll be very happy to share the process on my youtube.
The editing process is tough. Really.
All I need for this:
- cardstock
- craft glue
- die cuts
- goodies

The Time I Started Snailmailing

Hello! Are you curious how I started snailmailing? I've been receiving many questions about it like when | how | why | .... So, here it is.
When I was kid, I loved reading "Bobo", the famous kid magazine in Indonesia. I read every single word on it. The beginning page had reader letters which mostly looked for penpals. Penpals penpals penpals on each magazine. I finally asked my mom how to start snailmailing. She showed me the letters from her penpals she wrote to when she was young. I was so excited to have penpals like my mom. I loved hearing her stories how she wrote to her penpals, what she learned from them, learning new things, meeting new people, collecting stamps and many more that made me super excited.
She helped me to write reader letters to Bobo which I had sent more than 30 letters and mine was never noticed by them. I didn't only sending reader's letter to get penpals, but also at the same time I started sending letters to people who looked for penpals on the magazine. It was around 2004 and I got my first reply on 2005.
I didn't give up to send reader's letter to Bobo because I really wanted one of my "work" (writing from the bottom of my heart lol) got published on a magazine too. But,,,,, I decided to stop sending to Bobo because I already spent my parents's money to buy many stamps. Well, I got my reader's letter published I sent to another magazine when I was in Middle School but I sent it when I was in 5th grade or 6th grade. I finally got a longterm penpal, Alvi. FINALLY! I always asked to be their penpals and sometimes I heard nothing from them.
I had my snailmail break when I was in High School as the school schedule was pretty tight. I didn't disappear :D I "officially" told her that I needed to break for some time. We kept in touch. We keep in touch.
I only sent letters "nationwide" when I was kid. My first overseas letter I sent was to Russia on 2009. It didn't last long.
Before I started snailmailing. My grandpa (mom's dad) bought me and my cousin a stamp album. My grandpa, my uncle (my mom's youngest brother) had many used stamps they collected. They gave them to both of us. My cousin, Iim wrote on the stamp album that she was in 3rd grade when we got the stamp album. So, it might be around 2003. Fortunately, she wrote it when our grandpa bought it for us. But now her stamp album belongs to me. I asked her if she really collected stamps or not. She didn't and she let me keep it until now :D Thanks cousin! hehe
Mine is absolutely green! ;) I stored them by years. They are all used stamps, domestic and international.
So, you know how I started snailmailing. Can you guess what I collect besides stamps?

24-something

Oooohhh!! It's September 15th. Not many people know it.
As this is my first post here, I would like to tell you a bit what this blog will be about.
I'll share about my mail art - flipbook - scrapbook - craft projects. I would share about my daily life I guess haha we'll see. You need to stay tune ;)
So, I used to have a blog back then but I deleted it. I posted nothing though. I probably created the old one when I was in high school (around 2008) once I created my not-main-youtube channel as well. Sharing tutorials, techniques or anything that can help people who would like to know the process of my crafty projects truely makes me happy.
What will I post soon? Wait for 24-something...
See ya!!!
